This illustration was inspired by a close encounter we had with a moose right in front of our front door. We had some friends over for dinner that evening when suddenly we spotted this huge young moose bull outside the window. We opened the door to get a better look and take some photos and our cat Iroh slipped through the door and got really close to the moose. I was very scared for him but the moose was very gentle and then just left. 

A friend told me afterwards:
